How we handle the details you send us.
Plain language, no legal padding. If anything here is unclear, ask and we will explain it.
What we collect
When you request a quote or send a message, we collect your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, your ZIP code, the details you write about the job, and the answers you give in the quote form.
If you text us a photo, we have that photo, because it arrived with the message.
Our servers also record standard technical information such as the page you submitted from and the time of the request. This is used to keep the form working and to spot spam.
Why we collect it
To reply to your request, give you a price, and carry out the work if you hire us. That is the whole purpose.
That is why the form asks you to tick a box before it will send: we would rather have your clear permission than assume it.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anybody. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we do not send bulk email.
Your request is not shared with other contractors, lead-selling services or advertisers.
Who can see it
Your request is delivered to ClearEdge Glass & Door and read by the owner. Some of the underlying services that run this website, such as hosting and email delivery, process the data on our behalf in order to function.
We keep records only as long as they are useful for the customer relationship and for ordinary business accounting, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call using the details on this page and we will sort it out.
You can also simply stop corresponding with us at any time.
